My Four Street Wise Cats ( Part One)

When I moved in to my wife place in Tampines back in December 2002, I was pleasantly surprised to find a number of well fed cats loitering at the void deck. I was immediately smitten by them. I don't have any picture of them.

I can remembered clearly Zack, the young male cat, who is trying to be the dominant one.
When I saw him for the first time, he has the aura of charisma and confidence. He is a strong cat too, when I fed him chicken drumlets, he tored it into half with his teeth immediately and I can hear the crunching sound he made. Must be hungry, I thought. He even bullied the madame of the quartet, Hitam. Unfortunately, Zack disappeared from the block. I suspected that the lady on the 3rd floor brought him to her near home. Good bye old friend, you always been a fighter in my eyes.

Hitam means black in my native tongue. There is really something common about the cats, I will definitely let you know about that later. She is well fed, amiable and reserved female. Zack likes to bully her, like grabbing her from behind. Luckily, she has that part removed else I will be watching XXX rated scene in front of me! Occasionally she likes to rub my legs when I reach home in the evening. I still see her sometimes resting at the stairs and she still recognized me all these years. She purred affectionately whenever I stroked her. I think she has taken abode with one the kind folk of the block, hopefully.

My 10 Ukhrawi Objectives

I, Noraschid bin Abdul Ghani Al-Haj, being a slave of ALLAH, the Supreme Being in the whole universe, hereby declared my ten Ukhrawi Objectives:

1. I will contribute to the building of Darul Quran at MKS.

2. I will built a mosque so that the Lord can reward me with a house in Jannah.

3. I will khatam Quran again this year and every six months for the year.

4. I will be a tahfiz before I turn 36.

5. I will equipped my wife and children with proper Islamic knowledge based on the Quran and Sunnah.

6. I will built a foundation for Muslims. We will never be trampled on again, Insya Allah.

7. I will raise the porverty level of Muslims in the world. Poverty will be history!

8. I will master the knowledge of curing humans using Al Quran verses.

9. I will raise myself again so that I reach the point when my taqwa is strengthened.

10. I will use my knowledge of Quran reading, to benefit me. This will be three things that can get me to Jannah.

Insya Allah.

My 10 Objectives (The outcome so far)

1. To have my first online business by August 2008.
- I have source a book in Malaysia. I need to plan the details for it. The good
thing is I found Din, an old friend, to help design the page.

2. To have multiple income stream by December 2008.
- I am still waiting

3. To be a millionaire by the age of 36, if Irfan can do it, so can I!
- Ustaz Saad will teach us the fundamentals this Friday. Insya Allah, in 8 months the road.
I surely can beat Fadzli.

4. To be the exclusive distributor of Liverpoolfc.tv products in South East Asia by June 2008.
- This is going nowhere, no email from them but HarunYahya.com has replied. I am setting
up a website to create awareness that Islam is a religion of peace!

5. To be a forex expert, starting this July Insya Allah with the relevant information in hand, by December 2008.
- This is an implosion! Starting soon!

6. To invest 6K in global emerging market in equities by September 2006 and be investor savvy by February 2008.
- I am meeting mh advisor today!

7. To reduce my debts by 20K by July 2008.
- I be a millionaire by then!

8. To invest 50K in sales of the house in land banking, with breaking even every 4 years so that I can send my two lovely childrens to UK to study medicine.
- I haven't started yet!

9. To have a foundation for the needy, oprhaned and less priveleged people with no regards to religion,race or geopgraphical location, this will be my stock to Jannah.
- This will be dependent of all the rest. Anyway I started my giro for Kg Melaka Mosque for a start!

10. To have a big 4 storey bungalow in Johor, with 26 acres of land, a garage to store my Auston Martin,Toyota Estima MPV, a cute car for dear wife, swimming pool on the second floor with a dining room facing it.third storey will be the sleeping area for everyone and the fourth will be our love nest, with a veranda for us to have breakfast facing dawn.
- Forget about Auston Martin, it is going to be Mercedes Mclaren F1 SLR and Ssanyong Stavic!

HOTA

Three Fridays ago, we were hearing on Friday sermons about the plight of Muslims who are suffering from organ failure. Sigh, while our hearts feel for them, we are also wandering why are they in such a pitiful state? Aren't we supposed to take care of our health? Isn't health is wealth?

What irks me to write this post is that Friday prayers are being used to advance government agenda. Three weeks ago, they, being the esteemed ustazs and imams, were talking about organ failure and donation and yesterday the news came out that we can be include d in HOTA. You know what it means, I have to opt out of HOTA if I don't want my body to be dismembered later. Is this correct? Friday sermons being used to advance government agenda.

If you want people to know about HOTA, they should let the state interferes in Islam. What we want to hear for Friday sermon is all about Islam, not some government agenda. We are seeing Friday sermons being used for political and personal agenda. That is terribly wrong.

Melayu Tipu, Melayu Ditipu

Stuck a raw nerve anywhere?

U bet cos a friend of mine called me up yesterday explaining that if I invest CPF money, I can get some kopi money. I called that daylight robbery. There are many cases out there. Let me tell you a story, let us called this service provider, S. S informed a potential customer, B that he can get around 200 to 300 if he invests his CPF. Sounds good? In actual fact, what S is trying to do is that he is trying to get his quota filled for the year. S's company will set him some objectives for the year. Assuming his quota is 100K, and he is is really short of time to make that target but he sure can make up by asking people to invest their CPF. Assuming B parted 6OK of his CPF to S's company and S gladly part him 600 quids for that who will be the winner in the long run?

S will make his quota for 100K and will be paid accordingly, will it be 600 quids? I doubts so, it will be many times that, plus the amount he earned now will be multiplied down the roads. Who is the loser? B, cos if S is not smart enough, any of portfolios that he sinks the money too will be going down the drain. As we know S is only a service provider, not someone who is money wise trained in the fine arts of money investments. Even a semi pro like me can make that small mistakes, how can S be trusted to make monies for B?

In the long run, S going to get his Mercs while B be probably riding his kapchai. There are many cases going on and still Melayu got smoked again and again by Melayu........and in the end we all Melayu lagi......

Quilt

Seems the quilts are expensive products? Can it be sustain?
I doubt so but worth pursuing later. Now we are exploring other items:

Quran for kids, basically I am searching for materials we can sell to the masses
for teaching their kids about the reading of Al Quran. Insya Allah, we will try
Wisma Indah and Haji Hashim area on Wednesday.

Quilt

Seems, I need to work all things my way. I am be going off to suntec this afternoon for a quest to find a quilt maker.

We need hand made, special, customized quilt. Hopefully I can spring something.
